Replan SIM is a digital twin of your region: every person, every trip, every day. Change the service, the fare or a zone, and the model shows the demand, the modal shift and the change in access.
A synthetic population with age, household, income and car access. Each person plans a day, chooses mode, route and departure time on the real timetable and road network, and decides again when the service, the fare or a zone changes. Built on MATSim (TU Berlin, ETH Zürich).
OpenStreetMap for roads and paths, GTFS for timetables, the census for population and jobs, MiD, SrV and Mikrozensus for mobility behaviour and households. A first digital twin of any German region takes one working day. Your counts, ticketing data and current network calibrate it. Existing traffic models are converted where suitable. No personal data is needed.
Change the fare, redraw a line, add an on-demand area. Every person in the twin decides again. The result shows boardings, transfers, loads, modal split and accessibility per scenario, baseline against variant, as maps, tables and exports.
A zero-emission zone, a congestion charge, a fare reform: Replan SIM shows who gains and who pays, where trips reroute and how modes shift. For Berlin's climate council a full study took under two months, with no prior twin.
In 30 minutes we take one question from your region, a route, a fare or a zone, and show demand, distribution and cost.
